Sending our cookies

We finally got our cookies shipped off!! The troop had over 100 boxes of donated cookies and this year we sent them to an Army Ranger I know through work ... it took us a while to finally get to the post office and then took us 2 hours to box them all up ... put in all our homemade cards ... fill out all the customs forms and get them shipped off ... but Skye and I had a lot fun and can't wait to hear they got them!!!

It is the least we can do for the brave American's serving our country!!

Girl Scout Cookie Pick-up

We needed to rent a U-Haul for our cookie pick up so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to do a time lapse of the process. It is very fast and efficient and a lot of work - but who doesn't love Girl Scout cookie season?

Our New Cookie Booth

We won't be the only troop in the area to have this for long ... many scouts asked us where to get the crates for their cookie booths!!!! But I have to say it worked sooooo well. The crates hold between 22 and 34 boxes of cookies. Made it easy to transport and set up and pack up was a cinch ... now the counting after is a bit harder but so worth it.

Bridging to Juniors

So when the time to bridge is in the middle of winter it makes it harder to cross a bridge outside ... and the girls so wanted to cross a bridge ... so you gotta just build one right?!?

It worked perfectly and the girls loved it and since it was about 15 degrees out it was much better having it inside!!

We are also lucky enough to have an amazing mom in our troop who makes us the greatest cakes for bridging ceremonies ... these were all inspired by Girl Scout cookie flavors as well ...

All in all a wonderful bridging ceremony for the girls!!
